Callaghan Innovation’s Crucial Role in See-LEVEL's R&D Journey

Christchurch-based See-LEVEL has successfully developed VR technology to relieve seasickness, thanks in part to pivotal support from Callaghan Innovation. The agency’s grants and advisory services enabled See-LEVEL to accelerate its R&D, particularly during the development of its first full-scale products.

Callaghan Innovation provided a "Getting Started" grant that helped clarify intellectual property and facilitated software development. This early backing led to partnerships with Heritage Expeditions and Whale Watch Kaikoura, boosting See-LEVEL’s expansion into commercial sectors like offshore wind farms and defense, further solidifying its global potential.
